No, we are extremely proud to be the UK's first organic Indian spice blend company and ensure that our spices are not only natural but 100% organic too.  This means that all our spice blends use no artificial anything and are completely nasties free from the field to the plate. Unlike many conventional spice manufacturers who claim to be all-natural, we can honestly say that our spice have not been treated with toxic chemicals during the growth, harvesting or manufacturing of our blends. What you get is nothing but the highest quality pure spices and this is proved by our Soil Association organic certification. 

For orders received before 3pm UK time Monday to Friday, we make every effort to ship items in stock the same day. Otherwise for orders received after 3pm on weekdays or on weekends or bank holidays, we ship in-stock items the next business day. For UK destinations, we use Royal Mail. Please Note: A very few orders placed during this Covid-19 related period may be subject to an additional day or two for processing, or in transit time depending on the load on Royal Mail's network.

All the spices we use are gluten-free, however, they are processed in a facility that also handles nuts and wheat. Please note our recipes and serving suggestions, and feel free to use your favourite alternative ingredients in our recipes where required.

All our spice blend pouches will allow you to make a dish 5 times (3 times in the case of Biryani). Due to the organic nature of our products, our spices are extremely potent so you do not need to use as much of our spice blends compared to conventional spice blends. And each dish will serve 4 as a single main course with rice or naan/chappatis, or 6 if serving alongside other sharing dishes unless otherwise stated in the recipe.

Unlike conventional spice manufacturers, our spice blends have a 2 year shelf life. Most of our spices will also last longer than this date and this is why we include a Best Before date (rather than a specific Use By date) on the reverse of our pouches for the optimum time to use.  Our longer than normal shelf life is due to the organic profile of our spice blends. 

Yes, each of our curry spice blends are dispatched with a recipe card. They include easy-to-follow methods. Our Garam Masala spice blend does not ship with a recipe card as this is the finishing spice for many of our dishes. 

We ship our spice blends with recipe cards to make each dish, and which show you exactly how much spice blend to use in level measuring teaspoons and also grams. 

As with most spices and blends, we recommend storing them with their seal resealed and in a cool, dark and dry place.

Each of our blends have a different level of heat and flavour profile, but most are medium. The secret of our blends lies not in the heat level of a dish but the delicacy of the spicing. The result equates to dishes packed full of flavour. We suggest, if you enjoy more heat you can add a touch more of a good quality red chilli powder or chopped green chillies to your taste. Alternatively, if you prefer less heat, then you can reduce the amount to 2g per recipe instead of the recommended 5g. 

Yes, we use Royal Mail International shipping for that, and if you're in Europe that is free if your order is over £75. For the Rest of World it's a £125 minimum order for free shipping.

Yes, all our spice blends themselves are both vegetarian and vegan friendly. You can use your favourite alternative ingredients in some of our recipes and serving suggestions where required.
